Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.), a soulful Hip Hop duo, based out of New York, consisting of Barrington Russell Hunter (better known as “Leavy”) and Brayvon Russell Barnwell (better known as “Breeze”). The group was exposed to music at an early age being influenced by other family members in the industry and living in NYC escalated their interest even more. Cash On Delivery have a unique style with a soulful feel and a twist of New York swag. “They are the hottest group out right now,” says Monse from HOT 97. C.O.D. has created a enormous buzz in their own city by performing at various of showcases and dropping hot singles like, More Music, Just Like This, and now Ride Slow. “I feel music can help you get through many problems in life, all you have to do is sit back and listen. That’s one of the main reasons why I love to write music. Me and Hip-hop, there couldn’t of been a better match, says Leavy. Drawing influences from Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Biggie Smalls, Fabolous, Beanie Sigel, Joell Ortiz, Lloyd Banks, and Juelz Santana. C.O.D. is currently signed to Loyally Devoted Music Group, an independent label in New York. They have released several mix tapes and is currently featured on a compilation album due to be release this spring by super producer Diggz. The group was just recently featured on Rap Release’s Tribute to B.I.G. Mixtape and working on other upcoming projects. Needless to say, Cash On Delivery plans to be around for a very long time while continuing to keep you rocking to more “feel good music!”
